Generation Z

突然ですが

“Z世代” ってよく耳にしますね

でも “Z世代” ってなんだろう？と思っていたら、ちょうど世代についての記事を見つけました

その記事によると、世代には

Baby boomers

Generation X

Millennials

Generation Z

Generation Alpha があるとのこと

一つ一つ見ていこうと思います

“Baby boomers” are those born between1946 and 1964. After World WarⅡ, many countries had a big increase of children being born, also known as a “baby boom”, and peopele of this generation are called “baby boomers”. ちょうど私の母の世代です

“Generation X”are those born from 1965 to 1980.

“Millenials” are people born between 1981 and 1996. Members of this generation came of age during the explosion of the internet, and had to adapt to things like social media while they were growing up and entering adulthood.

“Generation Z” are people born between 1997 and 2012. Unlike earlier generations, this group has never known a world without the internet, smartphones and social media.

The generation after “Generation Z“ is “Generation Alpha”.

なるほど

Z世代とは、生まれたときから internet, smartphones, social media が当たり前にある世代、ちょうど私の子供達の世代をあらわしているようです

記事を読んでふと

昔我が家にあった巨大なタイプライターを思い出しました　こたつ位の大きさのタイプライターです

その巨大なタイプライターで仕事をしていた母は、あるときからパソコンを使いこなし、携帯電話を使いこなし、今はスマホで孫達とゲームまでしています

Baby boomers の母が、Generation Z の孫と一緒にスマホを使いこなしているのです

世代の話をしましたが、結論、世代など関係ないのでは

どの時代に生まれても、母の様に、新しい事を楽しむ心や、柔軟に受け入れる姿勢があれば、世代など関係ないと　もちろん母の努力があっての事ですが
