Summer diary
こんにちは アシスタントのサチヨです
ホントに毎日毎日暑いですね〜
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday!
月曜日からレッスンが再開します😊
もう絵日記を書いた子もいるかな??
今回も私も二つdiaryを書いてみました😊
In July, I went to Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa prefecture to see my mother in law.
This time we visited Shiroyone Senmaida Rice Terraces, which is located in the far north of the peninsula.
It was severely damaged by the earthquake that happened a year and a half ago.
The majority of the rice terraces were damaged and collapsed.
But the locals and volunteers are working together to rebuild them and grow some rice.
It will take a long time to restore the rice terraces to the same state as before the earthquake.
When I saw them from the top, I really hoped for no more disasters to happen.
On August 12th, I went to Asuka Village in Nara Prefecture with my family.
We visited Kitora Tumulus which was built between the end of the 7th century to the beginning of the 8th century.
Its stone chamber is decorated with beautiful murals, which were designated as a national treasure in 2019.
This time we could see the real mural painting of astronomical map, which is the world’s oldest surviving star map.
I was glad to spot the golden sun, the silver moon and the Big Dipper on the map through binoculars.
みんなのdiaryの発表とっても楽しみです🙌🏻
